Special Education Teacher

Interested Special Education Teacher applicants need to submit an application form (Teacher Application form available above or at www.sad44.org , General Information, Employment), and other supporting documents (resume, copies of transcripts, three letters of recommendation (dated within the last three years), copy of license) to the MSAD #44 Superintendent’s Office.  All applicants required to have an appropriate Maine DOE Certificate/License.  Positions will be filled when qualified candidates are identified. There is a position currently available at the Crescent Park School (PK-5) in Bethel. EOE

Athletic Trainer

Interested Athletic Trainer applicants need to submit an application form (Teacher Application form available above or at www.sad44.org , General Information, Employment), and other supporting documents (resume, copies of transcripts, three letters of recommendation (dated within the last three years), copy of license) to the MSAD #44 Superintendent’s Office.  All applicants required to have an appropriate Maine DOE Certificate/License.  Positions will be filled when qualified candidates are identified. Ed Tech II/III

MSAD #44 is accepting applications for an Ed Tech positions (II or III). Interested applicants need to submit a Support Staff application form (available at www.sad44.org , General Information, Employment), and other supporting documents (resume, letters of recommendation, copies of transcripts) to the MSAD #44 Superintendent’s Office, One Parkway Suite 204, Bethel, ME 04217. All applicants required to have an appropriate Maine DOE Certificate/License for Ed Techs. Positions will be filled when qualified candidates are identified.

Custodians

MSAD #44 is accepting applications for Custodians. Day and night shifts. Regular and Substitute. Minimum requirements is an "Approval License" from the Maine Dept of Education. Applicants need to submit an Approval application form to DOE ($15 fee) and register on the DOE Certification web page for a background check which includes fingerprints ($55 fee). License is valid for five (5) years and minimum to work in Maine's public schools. Please submit the Support Staff application to MSAD #44 with other supporting documents. EOE

Grade 3 Teacher , Physical Education / Health Teacher

Grade Three (3) Teacher at Crescent Park School.

Physical Education/Health Teacher at Telstar Middle School. Grades 6-8

Van Drivers and Student Monitors on Van, Regular and Substitute

MSAD #44 is accepting applications for Van Drivers and Student Monitors to ride on vans, regular and substitute. Minimum requirements is an "Approval License" from the Maine Dept of Education. Grade 7 Science Teacher

Grade 7 Science Teacher at Telstar Middle School. This is a long-term substitute teacher position starting on August 26th and ending at Christmas break. Interested applicants need to submit an application form (Teacher Application form available above or at www.sad44.org , General Information, Employment), and other supporting documents (resume, copies of transcripts, three letters of recommendation (dated within the last three years), copy of license) to the MSAD #44 Superintendent’s Office.  All applicants required to have an appropriate Maine Certificate/License.  Position will be filled when qualified candidate is identified. Student Monitors

Student Monitor positions available within the Special Education department at district schools in the classrooms (K-12), for after-school assistance and/or for transportation monitors. Appropriate Ed Tech Authorization license required from Maine Dept of Education . School Secretary

There is a part-time School Secretary position available at the Crescent Park School.

If interested please submit a Support Staff application, a letter of interest, resume, and three (3) recent references to the MSAD #44 Superintendent's Office. EOE

School Bus Drivers and a School Bus Mechanic
Location: district-wide

Full-time school bus drivers. These are school year positions starting at 20 hours a week with full benefits. This person will also have the opportunity to drive for summer programs. We are looking for a responsible, caring and positive team player. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid Maine CDL with an “S/P” endorsement, a clean driving record for the last 3 years, have a clean criminal record, and the ability to work in a flexible and challenging environment. Training may be provided if you do not hold a CDL with an “S/P” endorsement. Also available is a School Bus Mechanic's position.

School Nurse

SAD #44 is accepting applications for a School Nurse position. In addition to a valid Nursing license, individual will need to obtain an "School Nurse License" from the Maine Dept of Education. Please submit the Teacher application to MSAD #44 with other supporting documents (resume, copies of transcripts and license, three recent letters of recommendation). EOE

Substitute Custodians, Substitute Food Service workers and Substitute School Bus Drivers

SAD #44 is accepting applications for all Substitute positions (substitute custodian, substitute food service and substitute school bus driver or van driver). All positions required an "Approval License" from the Maine Dept of Education.
